Carols, hot chocolate at Grace Baptist

Grace Baptist Church of Sunset Beach, 17 Somerset Road in Pasadena, will have Christmas caroling at 6 p.m. today. Hot chocolate and fellowship will be held after the event.

A Christmas Eve candlelight service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday. This will be an evening of music and worship.

Living nativity, musical planned

Heritage Baptist Church, 1740 Forest Drive in Annapolis, will hold holiday events through Sunday.

The outdoor living nativity will be held at 7:30 p.m. today. Warm cookies and hot cocoa will be provided.

There will be a Christmas musical at 10:30 a.m. Sunday by the adult choir.

There will be a candlelight communion service at 7 p.m. Monday.

Weekly soup sale set at St. Andrew's

St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 4 Wallace Manor Road, Edgewater, will hold a weekly soup sale market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow.

Soup will be sold by the quart or gallon, and preorders will be accepted.

The weekly indoor flea market will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow. Space is available for $15 for a 10-by-10 foot space and tables are $5. Food concessions will be available.

Winter grief service scheduled

Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 400 Benfield Road in Severna Park, will hold a winter grief service at 5 p.m. Sunday.

This service will focus on comforting individuals who are grieving during the holidays.

Lake Shore plans family celebration

Lake Shore Baptist Church, at 4613 Mountain Road in Pasadena, will hold its family Christmas celebration from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

The event will have hay rides, a campfire, music, crafts, games, snacks and prizes.

Candlelight services set for Monday

Eastport United Methodist Church, at 926 Bay Ridge Ave. in Annapolis, will hold two candlelight services at 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Monday.

"Home for Christmas" will be the service theme. A concert will precede the late service.

Anchor Baptist Church, at 320 West Pasadena Road in Millersville, will have its Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7 p.m. Monday.

This service will have holiday music, instrumentals and scripture reading.

Carol Service on Christmas Eve

Holy Trinity Catholic Church, at 7436 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd. in Glen Burnie, will present a Christmas Carol service at 11:30 p.m. Monday.

This show will precede the midnight Mass and will feature the adult choir accompanied by a 12-piece orchestra led by Steve Owen.

Christmas Eve, New Year's services

Church on the Rock, at 649 Old Mill Road in Millersville, will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight communion at 7 p.m. Monday and a New Year's Eve celebration from 10 p.m. to midnight Dec. 31.

Christmas pageant at Glen Lutheran

Glen Lutheran Church, at 106 Carroll Road in Glen Burnie, will hold its annual Christmas pageant at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. This show will feature members re-enacting the events of the first Christmas.

There will be two Christmas Eve worship services, at 7:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. Monday, with a candle-lighting ceremony including trumpeter Julian Evans and soloist Angela Brown performing.

Christmas Eve service in Pasadena

Chesapeake Christian Center, at 206 Weston Woods Drive in Pasadena, will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 6 p.m. Monday.

This will be a fellowship service with holiday music, Holy Communion and scripture readings.

`12 Powers' lighting at Unity by the Bay

Unity by the Bay Church located in Suite 18 at 836 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park will hold a "12 Powers Candle-Lighting" service at 7:30 p.m. Monday.

There will be a burning bowl ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 30. This service is a cleansing and renewal service for individuals to relinquish burdens and identify desires for the New Year.

Continuing events include silent unity prayer time at noon, Monday through Thursday; and "A Course in Miracles" from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays.
