Mckinney, Nancy Lee

Nancy Lee McKinney (nee Armiger), born December 7, 1932, daughter of the late Irene J. Byers and Edward G. Armiger died of a terminal illness on December 13, 2007. She was raised in Gwynn Oak Junction, and graduated from Forest Park High School in 1951. While residing in Florida she was a loyal volunteer for Hospice. In the later 90's, she returned to Maryland to be with her children and their families. She is survived by a brother Gene G. Armiger and wife Sue. She is also survived by four children, Donna L. McCready (Ed), Donald D. Roberts, Jr. (Anne), Julia L. Bell (Jay) and Terrie A. O'Donnell (Danny). In addition her eight grandchildren, Joe and Amy McCready, Trey and Nick Roberts, Casey, G.J. and Tommy Bell, Steven O'Donnell and seven great grandchildren, nephew Scott Armiger and niece Karen Snell. She leaves behind her faithful companion (dog) Bandit and many loving friends. Our sincere appreciation and gratitude to Future Care Cherrywood for their care and compassion during her brief stay. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Maryland Hospice. A remembrance will be held at a later date.
