With a 94-yard kickoff return for a touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night and a 75-yard punt return for a touchdown in Week 3, Yamon Figurs joined the Chicago Bears' Devin Hester, the San Diego Chargers' Darren Sproles and the Seattle Seahawks' Nate Burleson as the only players to return a kickoff and punt for touchdowns this season. Praised by his coaches and teammates for giving the team a spark, the rookie return specialist knows about giving a boost to people around him.

You were a volunteer firefighter during the summer between high school and college. What did you like about it? It's just like football. You've got a team, you lift weights together, you do stuff together. That's why I liked it so much."

Did the prospect of rushing into a burning building ever scare you? No, not really. Not if you're helping somebody. In the end, it's something you train for. If you train for it, you're prepared for it.

What is your favorite food? I would have to say chicken Alfredo. Yeah, I love chicken Alfredo. I eat it probably once a week. Usually my mom makes it, but most of the time, I just make it myself.

Do you know your way around a kitchen? I'm all right if you give me cookbook.

What's the most difficult thing to cook? Pinto beans and ham hocks. You've got to have patience because that takes about eight hours. Black-eyed peas, too. They're pretty hard to cook because you've got to get them just right.
