Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Stolen vehicle -- A 1998 Cadillac with tags 4DG V27 was stolen Tuesday in the 100 block of N. Paca St.

Burglary -- Someone broke into an apartment in the 800 block of St. Paul St. through the front door Tuesday and stole an alarm clock, an iPod, two cameras and a laptop computer -- all valued at $4,000.

Robbery try -- A woman, 24, was about to leave her apartment building in the 1700 block of Eutaw Place about 8 p.m. Monday when a teenage boy with crooked front teeth pushed her against an outside wall, placed what appeared to be a gun to her head and demanded her money. When the woman told the gunman that she had no money, he fled.


Robbery -- Police were seeking two men, both wearing ski masks and one armed with a handgun, who robbed Tom's Barber Shop in the 1800 block of E. Federal St. of $150 about 4:20 p.m. Monday. Before the gunman and his accomplice fled, they also robbed a 45-year-old male patron of $100 and his cell phone.

Theft -- A man, 33, was refueling his car at a Citgo gas station in the 2300 block of Harford Road on Tuesday when he was approached by four males, one of whom asked whether he wanted to buy some marijuana. When the motorist said he was not interested, one of the men stole the man's wallet and all four fled. The man told police that the wallet contained $400.

Theft -- A purse and a cell phone were stolen Monday from a 2007 Kia Optima parked in the 900 block of Greenmount Ave.


Stolen vehicle -- A white four-door 1991 Nissan Stanza with Chesapeake Bay tags 96150 was stolen Tuesday from a parking lot in the 5800 block of Wabash Ave.

Burglary -- Copper water pipes of unknown value were stolen between Nov. 16 and Monday from a house being renovated in the 5300 block of Maple Ave. Police said the intruder also knocked holes in a wall and cut up a living room carpet.

Stolen vehicle -- A blue 2000 Daewoo station wagon with tags 3AZ M89 was stolen Monday in the 6400 block of Doral Drive.

Robbery -- Police were seeking two teenage boys, one armed with a handgun, who robbed a man, 37, of his keys in the 3900 block of Ayrdale Ave. about 9:30 p.m. Monday. When the victim fled the scene, the gunman fired a shot that missed him.

Burglary -- Someone entered a house in the 2400 block of Garrison Blvd. through a window between Sunday and Monday and stole a clothes washer/dryer and a generator -- all valued at $1,600.

Baltimore County


Bank robbery -- Police and the FBI were seeking a man who handed a note demanding money to a teller at Sun Trust Bank in the 11700 block of Reisterstown Road about 4 p.m. Tuesday and escaped with an undisclosed sum.

White Marsh

Burglary -- Copper wire valued at $800 was stolen Tuesday from a house under construction in the 5200 block of Morning Dove Way in Perry Hall.


Burglary/arrests -- Police responding to a burglary in an apartment in the 100 block of Sunmar Court on Tuesday arrested four teenage males in the apartment. Police said the youths, ages 15 to 17, caused at least $4,000 damage to the apartment and were charged as juveniles with burglary and destruction of property. All were released to their parents.
