Area-best winning percentage for Randallstown coach Kim Rivers. Rivers, who led the Rams to a fifth state title last season, is 292-46 going into his 14th season.


State boys basketball titles won by Baltimore County teams last season, by Randallstown (2A) and New Town (1A). The Rams defeated Fairmont Heights, 66-63, and the Titans outlasted Dunbar, 74-69, in overtime.


The national ranking among Class of 2009 shooting guards by for Towson Catholic's Leshon Edwards, who is ranked No. 70 overall.


Career wins for Mount St. Joseph coach Pat Clatchey. He is 347-128 (.718) entering his 16th season.


Points needed by Sean Mosley of St. Frances to tie the Panthers' career mark of 2,770 set by Mark Karcher (1993-97). Karcher's total is third in metro-area history. Mosley, who has 2,015 points and averaged 21 points last season, will have to average 22 to 23 points this season to do it.
