Coldwell Banker `staging' seminar

Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Brokerage will offer a free seminar about the art of "staging" a property at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate office, Festival Shopping Center, 572A Ritchie Highway, Severna Park.

Gina Garunkstis of GG Design Inspirations will conduct the seminar.

Annapolis bank to be cited for design

Severn Savings Bank will receive a Green Star Award for Environmental Excellence from Mayor Ellen Moyer and the City of Annapolis.

The bank will receive "Landowner of the Year" recognition for its new building and green roof at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 12 in the Severn Savings Bank Building, 200 Westgate Circle, Annapolis.

There will be complimentary light fare and cash bar. Reservations are required by Friday.

BWI Partnership to hold breakfast

The BWI Business Partnership will hold its monthly signature breakfast meeting from 7:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Sheraton Baltimore Washington Airport Hotel, 1100 Old Elkridge Landing Road, Linthicum.

The agenda will include views of what's happening in Washington from guest speakers, U.S. Sens. Barbara A. Mikulski and Benjamin L. Cardin.

The breakfast meeting is free or $25 for members depending on membership level, and $40 for others. Reservations are required by tomorrow.

Time to register for economic summit

The Black Chamber of Commerce of Anne Arundel County, Inc. is accepting registration for the Maryland Economic Summit planning meeting to be held Dec. 11.

Registration for the summit, themed "Reaching for New Attitude -- Collaboration, Communication, Cooperation," is required by Wednesday.

Morton's beginning a lunch tradition

Morton's Steakhouse will serve lunch Thursdays and Fridays at its Annapolis location, 100 Westgate Circle.

The new holiday lunch tradition, "Six Days of Morton's," will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 6 and 7, Dec. 13 and14, and Dec. 20 and 21.

Glen Burnie mall has holiday events

The Centre at Glen Burnie has announced holiday events and promotions:

Visit with Santa through Dec. 24. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from noon to 8 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Pet photos with Santa will be offered from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 13.

Toys for Tots: The Marines and WPOC radio will host the One New Toy drive from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday. Guests should bring a new, unwrapped toy to be donated to children.

Cookies and crafts with Santa: Children can make reindeer ornaments and enjoy cookies and juice with Santa at noon Saturday. Guests should make reservations and are asked to bring a nonperishable food item.
