The lowdown -- Catch the gallery talk for the exhibition Time and Measure today at Maryland Art Place. Join participating artists R.L. Croft, Kevin Wolf and Christopher Whittey as they explain the exhibit and their works.

If you go -- The talk will be at 6 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. reception. Time and Measure runs through Dec. 22. Maryland Art Place is at 8 Market Place, Suite 100.

Grace Hartigan

The lowdown -- Don't miss Grace Hartigan: New Painting, a new exhibit at C. Grimaldis Gallery. This will be Hartigan's 19th solo show at the gallery, and it will include paintings and works on paper that represent her interpretations of older works.

FOR THE RECORD - An item in yesterday's LIVE section misstated the date of a talk by artists R.L. Croft, Kevin Wolff and Christopher Whittey. They will discuss their works at Maryland Art Place at 6 tonight, followed by a reception at 7 p.m. The gallery is at 8 Market Place, Suite 100.
Another item in LIVE gave incorrect hours at C. Grimaldis Gallery. The gallery is open 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.

Aah, Bach

The lowdown -- Edward Polochick leads his Concert Artists of Baltimore in a performance Saturday of the B Minor Mass by Johann Sebastian Bach, which serves as a summation of Bach's incomparable art -- really, of all Western music up to that time -- and a foundation for all that was to come.

If you go -- The performance is at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Gordon Center for Performing Arts, 3506 Gwynnbrook Ave., Owings Mills. Tickets are $20-$28. Call 410-625-3525 or go to cabalto .org.
