Victory in the state playoffs for North Harford in school history. The Hawks achieved the milestone with their 36-13 win over Atholton in the Class 3A regional playoffs Nov. 16.


Goals C. Milton Wright's girls soccer team scored during its shootout with Quince Orchard in the Class 4A state title game. Quince Orchard scored three goals to edge the Mustangs for the championship.


Consecutive games the North Harford football team had won heading into Friday night's Class 3A regional final against Wilde Lake. The Hawks' only regular-season loss came in the fourth week of the season, when Joppatowne handed them a 14-11 defeat.


State championships for the Fallston field hockey team. The Cougars captured their 10th crown with a 1-0 victory over Bethesda-Chevy Chase in the Class 3A final Nov. 13.


Points that Joppatowne scored in both halves of its Class 1A playoff game Nov. 16. The Mariners rolled to a 42-6 win over county rival Havre de Grace.
