Ravens Weekend

November 16, 2007

Where the Ravens fall in the latest power rankings:

ESPN.com

No. 24: In Steve McNair's last 35 drives as quarterback, he has directed the Ravens to exactly one touchdown. For the season, he has committed 11 turnovers while throwing just two TD passes. No wonder fans are desperately calling for Kyle Boller.

No. 25: The word is Steve McNair has a bum shoulder. That could be the impetus to finally sit him down. Kyle Boller needs to play.

Foxsports.com

No. 26: Could it get any worse? The Ravens entered Sunday's game against the 31st-ranked defense as a struggling offensive unit. They managed only seven points, with those points coming when the game's outcome was all but decided. Steve McNair looked like his best days are in the rear-view mirror yet again, fumbling two balls and throwing an interception before being replaced by Kyle Boller in the fourth quarter. The Ravens have now lost three straight games and, at 4-5, are miles away from the playoff picture. Don't be shocked to see Boller start from here on out.

No. 24: Here's Sunday's quote from Steve McNair: "I'm trying to play hard, but it's just not there."

ColdHardFootball Facts.com

No. 26: QB Steve McNair has lost seven fumbles despite being sacked just 11 times all season.
