Westminster police are seeking three men in connection with an armed robbery at McDaniel College.

About 11:10 p.m. Wednesday, the men entered a dorm room in Rouzer Hall, police said. One displayed a handgun and demanded money and personal property from the two students in the room, city police and a college official said yesterday.

"One of the suspects displayed what the students described as a revolver, and made threatening statements against the students," said Michele Leiberman, a spokeswoman for McDaniel.

Police said the robbers took an undisclosed sum of cash before fleeing on foot. No one was injured.

The students notified the campus safety office and described the robbers as wearing "dark, hooded sweat-shirts and bandanas over their faces," Leiberman said. She said that the robbers were not believed to be students.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call city police Criminal Investigations Division at 410-848-4646 or the tips line at 410-857-TIPS.
