On October 31, 2007, OLIVER EARL PLAIN, beloved husband of Jean Marie Plain (nee Horak); passed away quietly at JHU Bayview Hospital at 9:38 P.M. Survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Jean M. Plain; stepdaughters Donna Madej, Diane De Marco, Denise LeBrun, stepson Douglas Burns; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. A true Baltimorean, Earl grew up in Hampden, later becoming one of the first people to sky dive with the Baltimore Skydivers. Earl was an entrepreneur who started a variety of successful small businesses. While in his leisure time he was fond of fishing, crabbing and family camping trips. His philosophy for life was simple but as direct as he was; honor, truth, and integrity. There will not be a viewing as was his wish.
