Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Shooting -- A man was shot multiple times in the upper body shortly after 1 p.m. yesterday in the 800 block of Woodington Road and was admitted to Maryland Shock Trauma Center. His condition was not available. The victim was found lying in the street by police responding to a report of a shooting. Details were not available.


Assault -- Police were seeking at least four young males who assaulted a boy, 13, in the 1500 block of N. Broadway about 2 p.m. Tuesday. Police said the victim, who does not live in the area of the assault, was kicked and beaten with fists. He was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Stolen vehicle -- A silver 1992 Buick Skylark with tags 9CZ M17 was stolen Sunday in the 1200 block of E. North Ave. The owner originally told police that he was a carjacking victim, but an investigation showed that the car was stolen without violence.

Stolen vehicle -- Police were seeking a red 2006 Mazda with tags 7CT X23 that was stolen Tuesday in the 1100 block of Homewood Ave.


Shooting -- A man in his early 20s who was shot in the leg about 6:40 p.m. yesterday in the 500 block of Dolphin St. was taken by a Fire Department ambulance to Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Details of the shooting and the man's condition were not available.

Robbery -- A woman, 40, was walking in the 1500 block of Madison Ave. about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday when she was assaulted by a man she had seen moments earlier. He robbed her of her purse containing personal property and a cell phone, all valued at $250.


Theft -- Sunglasses valued at $125 were stolen Wednesday from a 2000 Volvo parked in the 2600 block of Hudson St.

Burglary -- At least 20 video games and 30 DVDs were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 500 block of N. Luzerne Ave.

Stolen vehicle -- A gray 1998 Ford Escort with tags TED 425 was stolen Tuesday or Wednesday in the 3300 block of Foster Ave.

Stolen vehicle -- A 1998 Plymouth Breeze with tags 6BN R92 was stolen in the 200 block of N. Linwood Ave. Monday or Tuesday.

Baltimore County


Shooting/arrest -- A Fullerton teenager was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with shooting a man, 25, during a robbery that day in a house in the 3000 block of California Ave. The victim was robbed of an Xbox by a man he knew, then was shot in the head and a hand. A young man who was seen running into a nearby house in the 3000 block of Arizona Ave. was arrested without incident while hiding in the basement. Anton Lamont Cooper, 19, of the 7400 block of Linden Ave. was charged with attempted murder, robbery, a handgun violation and theft. He was being held at the county Detention Center in lieu of unspecified bail. The victim was being treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. His condition was not available.


Robbery -- A man was walking in the first block of Comill Court about 8:20 p.m. Wednesday when two men, one armed with a semiautomatic handgun, robbed him of his wallet, which contained $400.

Burglary -- Tools valued at $1,200 were stolen Tuesday or Wednesday from Rexel Co. in the first block of Gwynns Mill Court by someone who entered the business after breaking a glass front door.

Burglary -- Eight coils of copper wire valued at $800 were stolen between Nov. 1 and Monday from Windsor Electric in the 10200 block of S. Dolfield Road by someone who entered after cutting a wire fence and removing strands of barbed wire. The burglary was reported Wednesday.


Burglary -- More than $100 and property were stolen Wednesday from an apartment in the 2800 block of Diamond Ridge Road by someone who entered through a bedroom window.


Burglary -- Someone entered a house in the 3100 block of Shiloh Court through a rear window Wednesday and stole money and a computer monitor.

Robbery -- Two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed Hunan Joy Restaurant in the 800 block of Edmondson Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money about 7 p.m. Wednesday.

North Point

Vandalism -- Police were seeking whoever spray-painted "Kill the Cops" and "Eat the Rich" on the rear door and exterior walls of Movies Ten in the 7900 block of Eastern Ave. between Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon. Damage to the building was estimated at $200. Anyone with information is asked to call the precinct at 410-887-7320.
