Restaurant opens at Westfield Annapolis

McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant will open its new location at Westfield Annapolis mall at 3 p.m. tomorrow.

It will be the third McCormick & Schmick's in Maryland. The company has two restaurants in Baltimore.

Job fair planned at Fort Meade

The Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation-Anne Arundel One Stop Career Centers and Fort Meade Directorate Morale Welfare and Recreation will sponsor a job fair Wednesday.

The job fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Club Meade, 6600 Mapes Road, Fort Meade.

More than 60 employers will participate. Job seekers should bring resumes and be prepared for interviews.

Health care job fair at AACC Nov. 12

Anne Arundel Community College will host a health care job fair 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 12 in Room 100 at the Student Union building, 101 College Pkwy., Arnold.

Mixer set for women in construction

Associated Builders and Contractors Chesapeake, Baltimore and NAMC/DC chapters will host a diversity mixer for women construction owners, suppliers, engineers, architects and other service related industries.

The mixer, Women in Construction: Growing Together, will be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 13 at BWI Marriott, 1743 W. Nursery Road.

The cost is $15 for members, $20 for nonmembers.

Business Partnership to hold breakfast

The BWI Business Partnership will hold its monthly signature breakfast meeting from 7:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Nov. 15 at the Marriott BWI Airport, 1743 W. Nursery Road, Linthicum.

The agenda will include guest speaker Robert Fornaro, president of AirTran.

The breakfast meeting is free or $25 for members; $40 for nonmembers. Reservations are required by Nov. 13.

Businesswomen to hold meeting

The Maryland Capital chapter of American Business Women's Association will hold its monthly membership meeting from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Sheraton Barcel?, 173 Jennifer Road, Annapolis.

Highlights of the meeting include a presentation on estate and business planning by Cathleen F. Ward and a speech by Paula Constantino.

The cost is $30 for members with reservations by 5 p.m. Thursday, $35 after Thursday, $45 at the door and for nonmembers.

RiverWest exec to be honored

RiverWest Marketing's president, Susan Snyder, has been selected to receive one of the Top 100 Minority Business Enterprise awards.

Snyder and RiverWest were chosen for achievements in business development, client satisfaction, professional affiliations and community outreach.

Snyder will be honored Thursday at an awards ceremony in Adelphi.

FastFrame of Annapolis announces its partnership with Christine Hunt of Images by Christine.

Hunt is a photographer who specializes in fine art prints. FastFrame specializes in custom frames.

Property law firm opens in Annapolis

Prass & Irving LLP, a property law firm, has opened its headquarters in Annapolis at 2661 Riva Road, Bldg. 1000, Suite 1044.

Partners Ronald E. Prass Jr. and Richard C. Irving chose Annapolis because of the region's technology development.
