Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Northwestern

Shootings -- Two boys, one 13 and the other 17, were shot in the shoulder about 9:20 p.m. yesterday by an unknown assailant in the 4000 block of Barrington Road. Both boys were taken by ambulances to Sinai Hospital. Their conditions were not available.

Shooting -- Police were seeking a man who shot an 18-year-old man several times while the victim walked in the 3800 block of Bonner Road near Chelsea Terrace about 3 p.m. Wednesday. Witnesses told police that the gunman shot the victim at close range, then stood over him and shot him at least two more times before running off. The victim was taken by a city Fire Department ambulance to Sinai Hospital, where he was reported in serious condition. Anyone with information is asked to call district detectives at 410-396-2466.

Southeastern

Shooting -- A man, 20, was walking in the 3000 block of McElderry St. about 4:45 p.m. Wednesday when an unknown assailant shot him in the right leg and groin before fleeing. The victim was taken by a city Fire Department ambulance to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was reported in good condition.

Burglary -- An undisclosed sum of money was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 700 block of S. Streeper St. by someone who entered through a rear door.

Burglary -- Someone broke into a building in the 3200 block of E. Fayette St. between Sunday and Wednesday and stole a generator and tools - all valued at more than $2,000.

Baltimore County

White Marsh

Armed robbery -- A 51-year-old male employee of Philly's Best in the 6700 block of Belair Road was taking out the trash about 12:10 a.m. yesterday when he was accosted by two younger males, one with a revolver, who forced him back inside. There, the employee was ordered into an office, where he was forced to open a safe and give the armed man and his accomplice an undisclosed sum of money. Anyone with information is asked to call the precinct at 410-887-5000.

Burglary -- Someone broke into an apartment in the 7400 block of Barkdoll Court on Wednesday night and stole a laptop computer, jewelry and cash. There were no signs of forced entry.

Pikesville

Burglary -- Between 20 and 30 feet of half-inch copper pipes of unknown value was stolen between Oct. 18 and Tuesday from a house in the 6700 block of Alter St. by someone who entered through the front door.

Woodlawn

Burglary -- Someone broke into the office at Public Storage in the 9200 block of Liberty Road Sunday after cutting a hole in an exterior wall and stole more than $500. The burglary was reported Monday.

Robbery -- A man, 30, was walking in the 1600 block of Whitehead Road about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday when a man with a shotgun robbed him of a set of keys and his wallet containing $44.

Towson

Robbery try -- Police are seeking two teenage boys who attempted to rob a husband and his wife about 8:40 p.m. Monday while the couple walked down an alley near their home. Police said the suspects drove off in a gold Ford Taurus after the couple told them they had no money. Anyone with information is asked to call the precinct at 410-887-2361.
