Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Central

Burglary -- A telephone and its charger - all valued at $40 - were stolen Tuesday from an apartment at Memorial Apartments in the 300 block of McMechen St. by someone who entered through the front door.

Burglary -- Six laptop computers were stolen between Oct. 26 and Monday from an office in a building in the first block of South St.

Burglary -- A laptop computer valued at $900 was stolen Sunday from an apartment in the 500 block of N. Charles St. by someone who entered through a door.

Northwestern

Shooting/robbery -- Police were seeking a man who shot another man in the right arm during a robbery in Hanlon Park in the 3300 block of Liberty Heights Ave. about 5 p.m. Tuesday. The victim, who was shot after the gunman robbed him of $70 to $80, was treated at Sinai Hospital.

Western

Stabbings -- Two males, ages 14 and 19, were each stabbed in the stomach about 8 p.m. yesterday during an incident in the 1900 block of Etting St. The younger victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital's pediatric intensive care unit. The other victim was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Their conditions were not released. No arrest had been made.

Robbery -- An apparently unarmed man entered the Great Cookie at Mondawmin Mall about 2:15 p.m. Tuesday and told a female employee to "act normal." The man then ordered the employee to give him the contents of a cash register. The man escaped on foot with more than $100.

Shooting -- Two men were walking in the 800 block of N. Fulton Ave. about 1 a.m. Tuesday when they heard several gunshots and began to run. It was then that one of the men, 27, realized that he had been shot in the leg. Unable to walk, the wounded man and his companion flagged down a motorist who drove them to University of Maryland Medical Center. It was not known whether the wounded man was an intended target or shot by accident.

Southeastern

Burglary -- Someone broke into a house in the 400 block of Luzerne Ave. through a basement window Tuesday and stole two stained-glass windows, one with the address numbers 437.

Stolen vehicle -- A blue 1999 Dodge Dakota with tags 06592CA was stolen Monday in the first block of S. Washington St.

Burglary -- Police were seeking the person who broke into a house in the 100 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. on Monday night or Tuesday morning and spray- painted the walls, causing hundreds of dollars in damage.

Baltimore County

Pikesville

Kidnapping -- A girl, 16, was seated in a friend's car parked on Milford Mill Road about 11 p.m. Monday when a gunman forced his way into the vehicle and drove away. During a ride into the city, the gunman robbed the girl of $40. The uninjured girl and the car were found a short time later in the city. No arrest had been made.

Burglary -- A laptop computer and a set of car keys were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 2700 block of Quarry Heights Way by someone who entered after breaking a window.
