An affable but not-quite-`Perfect' musical

Theater Review

November 01, 2007|By Mary Carole McCauley | Mary Carole McCauley,Sun theater critic

Nobody's perfect - not me, not you and not Megan, a fictional little girl planning a positively purple party for her 10th birthday. Not Academy Award-winning actress Marlee Matlin, who co-wrote a children's book starring Megan.

And not director Coy Middlebrook, who was responsible for shepherding Nobody's Perfect from the page to the stage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

If you go Nobody's Perfect runs on the Kennedy Center's Family Stage through Saturday. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. tomorrow and 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $18. Call 202-467-4600 or go to kennedy-center.org.
