Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Arson -- Police and fire investigators continue to seek whoever threw a Molotov cocktail through the first-floor rear window of a house in the 2100 block of Koko Lane about 5 a.m. Oct. 25. The flame left burn marks on the dwelling before extinguishing itself. Police found a second Molotov cocktail in a rear yard that also burned itself out. There were no injuries. Anyone with information is asked to call the police district at 410-396-2477 or the Fire Department's arson squad at 410-396-5690.

Stolen vehicle -- A blue 2000 Nissan Sentra with unknown temporary tags was stolen Monday on Poplar Grove Street near Bloomingdale Road.

Burglary -- Video games and a laptop computer - all valued at $820 - were stolen Monday from a house in the 1400 block of W. Saratoga St. by someone who entered through a rear window.


Shooting -- Police were seeking a man who shot another man, 36, in the left foot about 11:30 p.m. Sunday while the victim walked in the first block of S. Kresson St. The victim was treated at an area hospital and released. Police knew of no motive.

Robbery -- A woman, 25, was walking in the 1000 block of S. Decker Ave. about 9:30 p.m. Sunday when a man wearing blue jeans, a red-and-blue sweat shirt and tennis shoes placed his hands on her before stealing her purse containing $30 and personal papers.

Theft -- A portable TV and a wallet containing credit cards and personal papers - all valued at $220 - were stolen Sunday or Monday from a 2003 Infiniti parked in the 700 block of S. Glover St.


Shooting -- A boy, 16, was riding his bike in the 2500 block of Terra Firma Road about 6 p.m. Monday when he was stopped by two older males, one with a handgun. Before the victim could flee, the gunman shot him in the upper right arm. The victim was treated at Harbor Hospital.

Robbery try/arrest -- A woman, 45, was walking across the parking lot at Harbor Hospital in the 3000 block of S. Hanover St. about 1 a.m. Sunday when three teenage boys, one with an unknown weapon, tried to steal her car keys. The woman ran into the hospital, where she told a hospital security officer. The officer called police. A short time later, police arrested a male, 17, of Brooklyn, in the 3100 block of Potee St. He was charged with attempted armed robbery. Police were seeking the other boys.
