Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Southwestern

Homicide victim named -- Police released the name yesterday of the man whose severely burned body was found Oct. 15 in the trunk of his burning car in the 2100 block of Allendale Road in the Fairmount neighborhood. Police said an autopsy showed that Henry Mazyck, 39, of the 300 block of N. Kresson St. in East Baltimore died of asphyxiation. No arrest had been made.

Northwestern

Arrest -- James Huntley, 35, who is serving time at the Maryland House of Correction at Jessup for an unrelated offense, was served a detainer yesterday charging him with attempted murder. The detainer charges Huntley, who lives in the 4400 block of Old Court Road in Baltimore County, with the nonfatal shooting of Angela Jackson at or near her home in the 3500 block of W. Garrison Ave. in Northwest Baltimore on May 22.

Southeastern

Stolen vehicle -- A white 2000 Ford Expedition with tags M616398 was stolen Tuesday in the 1400 block of Bank St.

Theft -- A 1998 Ford van was parked in the 6200 block of Holabird Ave. between Oct. 18 and Tuesday when someone removed both tags. The tags are 68K 345.

Burglary -- Someone broke into the Dead End Bar & Restaurant in the 900 block of Fells St. on Tuesday and stole more than $120 worth of crab meat.

Central

Robbery -- A man, 30, was standing in the 1600 block of McCulloh St. about 4 a.m. Tuesday and smoking a cigarette when a gunman robbed him of $22.

Baltimore County

White Marsh

Robbery -- Police were seeking three men who attacked a man, 23, as he walked in the first block of Juliet Lane about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and robbed him of $500. During the robbery, one man cut the victim in the face with a box cutter while another assailant threatened him with a handgun.

Towson

Burglary -- Two routers valued at $75 each were stolen from Xpress Title Services in the 700 block of Dulaney Valley Road on Sunday or Monday.

Cockeysville

Burglary -- More than $20,000 worth of jewelry and an undisclosed sum of money were stolen Tuesday night from a house in the 700 block of Bosley Ave..

Franklin

Burglary -- Someone broke into a house in the 4000 block of Deer Park Road between Oct. 1 and Oct. 8 and removed $320. The burglary was reported Tuesday.

Burglary -- A snow blower was stolen from the basement of an apartment building in the first block of West Chestnut Hill Road between Sept. 1 and Tuesday.

Pikesville

Robbery try -- A gunman entered Village Services in the 8100 block of Liberty Road about 8 p.m. Tuesday and ordered the clerk to remove money from a cash register. The gunman fled without taking any money.
