Havel play

The lowdown -- The True Comedy Theatre Company will perform a new English translation of former Czech President Vaclav Havel's play The Increased Difficulty of Concentration. This play, about a social scientist's relationships with four women -- his wife, mistress, secretary and a colleague -- will be performed with original rock music.

If you go -- The play runs through Nov. 4 at 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays at the Theatre Project, 45 W. Preston St. Tickets are $10-$20. Tomorrow's performance is free as part of Free Fall Baltimore. For tickets or required Free Fall reservations, call 410-752-8558.`

Funny' show

The lowdown -- The Dundalk Community Theatre presents A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, a play about a Roman slave who, while trying to get his freedom, arranges a romance between his master's son and a young virgin.

If you go -- The show is 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays through Nov. 4 at the Community College of Baltimore County's Dundalk Community Theatre, 7200 Sollers Point Road. Tickets are $13-$21. Call 410-780-6369.

Moonstruck

The lowdown -- Just in time for the full moon tomorrow, baritone Phillip Collister and pianist Reynaldo Reyes, members of the Towson University music faculty, will present a program of music with a lunar element. Naturally, two piano favorites, Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata and Debussy's Clair de Lune, are on the program. There will also be lovely art songs by Schubert, Schumann, Brahms and Debussy, all featuring poetic texts inspired by that nearby object in the sky.
