Centennial @ Oakland Mills

WHEN -- Tomorrow, 7 p.m.

OUTLOOK -- Going into the week, the Scorpions appeared to be headed to a meeting with River Hill in Tuesday's county championship game. They'll get a good test tomorrow with Centennial visiting in the regular-season finale for both teams. The Scorpions are led by senior Cory Marcon, while senior Eric Oates is the Eagles' steadying influence in the middle.

Atholton @ No. 2 River Hill

WHEN -- Friday, 7 p.m.

OUTLOOK -- At 6-0, the host Hawks are battling Patuxent for the top seed in the Class 2A South region. The Raiders, in the mix for a playoff berth in the Class 3A East region, will try to bounce back from a 12-7 upset loss to Marriotts Ridge last weekend. Some of the county's top RBs will be featured, with the Hawks getting standout seasons from junior Michael Campanaro and senior Zach Martin, and Atholton from Kelechi Odocha, its top offensive threat.

No. 10 Wilde Lake @ Long Reach

WHEN -- Saturday, 1:30 p.m.

OUTLOOK -- After their first loss of the season to River Hill on Oct. 5, the Wildecats (5-1) rebounded with Saturday's 25-7 win over Reservoir to stay in the chase for a playoff spot in the Class 3A East region. Junior RB Jerrel Epps ran for 124 yards and scored his sixth touchdown of the season in the win. Long Reach fell to 3-3 Saturday with a 44-0 loss to River Hill.

No. 8 River Hill @ Mount Hebron

WHEN -- Monday, 5:45 p.m.

OUTLOOK -- The Hawks, who went into this week's play with an 8-2 county mark, will try to get past Mount Hebron in pursuit of a spot in the county championship game, which is set for Oct. 30. River Hill senior Maddi Lee has been one of the county's most dominating hitters this season. The Vikings look to counter with setters Megan Frey and Terri Reynolds.
