PLAY OF THE WEEK

Edgerrin James, Arizona at St. Louis -- James has re-emerged as a must-start running back with 354 yards and three touchdowns this season. The Rams have allowed 157 rushing yards per game and yielded seven TDs on the ground.

QUARTERBACK

STARTING NOD -- Tony Romo, Dal las at Buffalo. Look for another big outing from Romo on Monday night with the Cowboys facing the Bills' pass defense, which ranks last in the league.

OTHER SOLID OPTIONS -- Eli Man ning, New York Giants; Vince Young, Tennessee; Brett Favre, Green Bay.

NOT THIS WEEK -- Philip Rivers, San Diego; Joey Harrington, Atlanta; Jeff Garcia, Tampa Bay.

RUNNING BACK

STARTING NOD -- Larry Johnson, Kansas City vs. Jacksonville: After struggling early, Johnson appears to have returned to form and should build on last week's 123-yard effort vs. San Diego.

OTHER SOLID OPTIONS -- Sammy Morris, New England; Joseph Addai, Indianapolis; Willie Parker, Pittsburgh.

NOT THIS WEEK -- Marshawn Lynch, Buffalo; Jamal Lewis, Cleve land; Maurice Jones-Drew, Jacksonville.

WIDE RECEIVER

STARTING NOD -- Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona at St. Louis: Fitzgerald (26 re ceptions, 315 yards) has five TDs against the Rams in his six career games. Expect the Cardinals to look his way more with fellow receiver Anquan Boldin (hip) possibly out.

OTHER SOLID OPTIONS -- Donald Driver, Green Bay; Brandon Marshall, Denver; Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis.

NOT THIS WEEK -- Vincent Jackson, San Diego; Braylon Edwards, Cleve land; Joey Galloway, Tampa Bay.

TIGHT END

STARTING NOD -- Dallas Clark, Indi anapolis vs. Tampa Bay: Who would have thought that after four games Clark (19 catches, 251 yards, four touchdowns) would have as many TDs as wide receivers Marvin Harris on and Reggie Wayne combined?
