Dance party

The lowdown -- Join DJs Craig "Automat!c" Boarman and Heartbreak Beat when they spin tracks from '80s synth-pop groups at Round 2 of The Cure vs. Depeche Mode vs. New Order vs. Duran Duran Dance Party.

Jimmie's Chicken Shack

The lowdown -- Originally from Annapolis, alt-rockers Jimmie's Chicken Shack will bring their varied sound and high-energy performance for a headlining show. The bands Havok in Hollywood, Of Broken and Empty Gratitude will open.

Canyon Festival

The lowdown -- Current Gallery's Canyon Festival, a two-day underground music and arts event, will feature 16 bands, a craft bazaar, performance art and film and video presentations from all over the United States. Bands include Monarch, WZT Hearts and the Lexie Mountain Boys.
