BOYS SOCCER
John Carroll @ No. 1 Calvert Hall
WHEN -- Tuesday, 4 p.m.
OUTLOOK -- The Patriots went 5-5 through their first 10 games (2-4 in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference) and are going against a Calvert Hall team that was upset by Gilman, 2-0, last week. Calvert Hall scored a 5-1 victory when the teams met earler this month.
GIRLS SOCCER
No. 7 C. Milton Wright @ No. 9 Fallston
WHEN -- Wednesday, 7 p.m.
OUTLOOK -- These are probably the two best teams in the Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference. The Fallston offense has been on a roll, as the Cougars (7-0-1) scored a total of 11 goals in wins over Mercy, Bel Air and Hereford. C. Milton Wright (7-1) shut out Aberdeen, 4-0, last week. The big question will be which team can slow the other's potent offense.
BOYS SOCCER
No. 5 Fallston @ No.13 C.M. Wright
WHEN -- Friday, 7 p.m.
OUTLOOK -- C. Milton Wright started 6-1 and has been consistent all season, with one of its good efforts coming in a 3-0 road victory over North East-Cecil. Fallston (5-2) has played a tough early season schedule and scored a 3-2 victory over Dulaney in a recent game. The Cougars beat then-No. 1 Mount Hebron earlier this season and could be rounding into form as UCBAC divisional play heats up.
FOOTBALL
Joppatowne @ Aberdeen
WHEN -- Friday, 7 p.m.
OUTLOOK -- This game will be important for both teams, as each began the season 2-1 despite struggling at times. Joppatowne's grind-it-out, run-based offense is led by versatile QB C.J. Townes, who causes lots of problems for defenses. Aberdeen has been locked in close games all season. QB Jordan McGriff and RB Andre Young made key plays in the team's 14-7 win over Havre de Grace in Week 3.
