British Car show

The lowdown -- MG's on the Rocks British Car Show and Parts Market aims to bring together hundreds of MG and British car owners and enthusiasts from the Mid-Atlantic region. Expect numerous vendors of new and used parts, a selection of cars for sale, expertise on technical problems, and food and drinks. Open to all British car owners, the show will also feature an awards presentation and dash plaques for all preregistered cars.

Brewing fun

The lowdown -- Beer lovers unite for the second annual Maryland Microbrewery Festival. Celebrating local original microbrews, there will be brewing seminars, crafts and food vendors, and live music.

Get `Provoked'

The lowdown -- Experience the intensity and outspokenness of vocalist Henry Rollins, as he brings his "Provoked" Spoken Word Tour to the Birchmere. The hardcore rock singer tackles social and political issues in his poetry.
