FIELD HOCKEY

Fallston @ C. Milton Wright

WHEN -- Tuesday, 3:30 p.m.

OUTLOOK -- Fallston (5-1) and C. Milton Wright (4-1) have been two of the Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference's best teams in the season's first month. The Mustangs scored one-goal wins over Maryvale and River Hill. Dulaney handed the Cougars their first defeat of the season, 1-0 in overtime.

FOOTBALL

Bel Air @ Fallston

WHEN -- Friday, 7 p.m.

OUTLOOK -- Both teams got off to 2-0 starts. For Bel Air, QB Mitch Poole scored both touchdowns in Week 2's 12-6 overtime victory over Riverdale Baptist. The Bel Air defense gave up just one touchdown in the first two games. Fallston RB Garrett Weinhold scored the winning touchdown in overtime to give the Cougars a 19-12 victory over Elkton in the second week. The Cougars have played tough defense in the first two games.

North Harford @ Joppatowne

WHEN -- Friday, 7 p.m.

OUTLOOK -- This game has been a good one the past few years. North Harford won its first two games, outscoring Annapolis and North East-Cecil by a combined score of 55-6. QB Dan Griffin has sparked the offense, as he ran for two scores and threw for one more in a 21-0 victory over North East in Week 2. Joppatowne QB C.J. Townes has been a big help for the Mariners. He ran for 128 yards and had an interception in a 16-6 victory over Havre de Grace in Week 2.

CROSS COUNTRY

Bull Run Invitational @ Hereford

WHEN -- Saturday, 9 a.m.

OUTLOOK -- Most of the Harford County teams will take part in this invitational, widely considered the most challenging of the season. It should be a good test for the schools, which will race in one of several different divisions at Hereford - selected as one of the nation's toughest courses.
