PLAY OF THE WEEK

Randy Moss, New England vs. Buffalo -- In two games, Moss has 17 catches for 288 yards (16.9 aver age) and three touchdowns. San Die go's normally tough defense was no match for him last week as he had his 49th career 100-yard receiving game, totaling eight catches for 105 yards and two touchdowns.

QUARTERBACK

STARTING NOD -- Matt Hasselbeck, Seattle vs. Cincinnati: Hasselbeck should have a banner day with the Seahawks at home and trying to re bound from last week's 23-20 loss to Arizona. In that game, Hasselbeck threw for 281 yards and a touchdown.

OTHER SOLID OPTIONS -- Vince Young, Tennessee; Jake Delhomme, Carolina; Drew Brees, New Orleans.

NOT THIS WEEK -- J.P. Losman, Buf falo; Matt Leinart, Arizona; Alex Smith, San Francisco.

RUNNING BACK

STARTING NOD -- Brian Westbrook, Philadelphia vs. Lions: For the season, Westbrook has 37 carries for 181 yards (4.1 average) and has 14 catches for 112 yards. He has missed practice time with a strained knee, but is expected to play. Monitor his status, however.

OTHER SOLID OPTIONS -- Travis Henry, Denver; LaMont Jordan, Oak land; Shaun Alexander, Seattle.

NOT THIS WEEK -- Marshawn Lynch, Buffalo; Edgerrin James, Ari zona; Julius Jones, Dallas.

WIDE RECEIVER

STARTING NOD -- Torry Holt, St. Louis at Tampa Bay: Holt continues to post solid numbers with 13 catch es for 147 yards and two touchdowns this season. In four career games against the Buccaneers, he's sur passed 100 yards in each - catching 35 passes for 567 yards and three touchdowns.

OTHER SOLID OPTIONS -- Santana Moss, Washington; Marvin Harrison, Indianapolis; Deion Branch, Seattle.

NOT THIS WEEK -- Lee Evans, Buf falo; Reggie Brown, Philadelphia; Darrell Jackson, San Francisco.

TIGHT END

STARTING NOD -- Owen Daniels, Houston vs. Indianapolis: Daniels likely will be quarterback Matt Schaub's top target on Sunday. After catching just one pass in the opener, Daniels caught five passes for 58 yards Sunday against Carolina.

OTHER SOLID OPTIONS -- Tony Gonzalez, Kansas City; Jeremy Shock ey, New York Giants; Kellen Winslow, Cleveland.

NOT THIS WEEK -- Heath Miller, Pittsburgh; Vernon Davis, San Fran cisco; L.J. Smith, Philadelphia.

KICKER

STARTING NOD -- Jason Elam, Den ver vs. Jacksonville: Elam had three field goals in each of the team's two wins. With the prospect of a low-scor ing game against Jacksonville, Elam (6-for-9 on field goals with two extra points) should continue to get chances.

DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS

STARTING NOD -- New England vs. Buffalo: The Patriots' defense limited the Chargers to just 201 total yards last week, and it scored a defensive touchdown for the second straight week. The defense had eight sacks in the team's two wins.
