Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Northeastern

Shooting -- A man, 19, was reported in good condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital after an unknown man shot him in the left ankle while the victim walked in the 7100 block of McClean Blvd. about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Arrest -- Stanley Wright, 45, of the 5100 block of Raintree Way was arrested yesterday morning at his home by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him with robbing a woman in the 4700 block of Harford Road on Aug. 31.

Northwestern

Hit and run -- Police were seeking the driver of a motorcycle that struck an 80-year-old man in the 3800 block of W. Belvedere Ave. about 7:40 p.m. yesterday and failed to stop. The impact drove the victim under a parked car. Police said the man was in serious condition at Sinai Hospital, and that anyone with information is urged to call police at 410-396- 2466.

Arrest -- Police entered a home yesterday in the 3800 block of Bonner Road and arrested Gibert Wiley, 51, of that address on a warrant charging him with attempted murder. Wiley is accused of shooting another man in the 4000 block of Dorchester Road on June 5.

Southeastern

Stolen vehicle -- A burgundy 1992 Toyota Camry with tags 5CH C72 was stolen in the 4700 block of Foster Ave. Monday night or early Tuesday.

Stolen vehicle -- Police were seeking a green 1999 Dodge Neon with tags HZH 761 that was stolen Monday or Tuesday in the 2200 block of Essex St.

Central

Robberies -- Two women in their early 20s were walking in the 100 block of E. Madison St. about 9 p.m. Monday when they passed a teenage male who was sitting on the front steps of a house. Seconds later, the teen stood up, produced a handgun and robbed both women of their cell phones.

Robbery -- A man, 48, was playing with his bull terrier puppy in the backyard of his home in the 800 block of George St. about 1 p.m. Sunday when a man approached, pulled out a handgun and said, "I don't want to shoot you, so give me the dog." The gunman then fled with the dog in tow on a leash.

Baltimore County

Cockeysville

Burglary -- Liquor and cigarettes were stolen Tuesday afternoon from a storage room at the Manor Tavern in the 15800 block of Old York Road by someone who entered through a side door.

Pikesville

Armed robbery -- A teenage employee of Quizno's Sub Shop in the 9400 block of Reisterstown Road was taking out the trash in the back of the business about 10 p.m. Monday when he was forced back inside by two men, one armed with a hammer and the other with a machete. Police said the two men entered the building and removed an undisclosed sum of money from a cash register and a safe and also stole a cell phone.
