Schedule unveiled for deer hunting

In areas where bow and shotgun hunting are not suitable, the department will reduce the deer population using accurate, noise-suppressed firearms and licensed shooters. Those operations will be conducted during evening hours when parks are closed.

Sharpshooting is planned at the Alpha Ridge Landfill on the evening of Feb. 5.
