A Columbia man pleaded guilty yesterday in Howard County Circuit Court to two counts of vehicular homicide while under the influence of alcohol in a crash last year that killed two women.

Two passengers in a car driven by Dwayne Shontae Williams - Quintella Alston, 41, of Reisterstown and Kenmarlo Denise Jackson, 21, of Laurel - died of their injuries in the crash Aug. 5, 2006, outside the Tip Top Motel on U.S. 1 in Elkridge. Williams, 28, was trying to make a left turn into the motel about 6:45 a.m. when his car hit a pickup truck.

Sentencing is set for Nov. 20.
