Is your home worthy of HGTV?

September 09, 2007|By Tim Swift

The cable channel HGTV is on the hunt for telegenic and handy homeowners to spotlight in one of its fleet of real estate-themed shows.

The producers of My House is Worth What? will be filming segments in the Baltimore area Oct. 23-28. They're looking for people who have owned their house for more than a year and have made significant renovations to the property.

The show airs Wednesday nights at 10:30. It's designed to give sellers a leg up before they put their house on the market and help owners make informed decisions about what to upgrade. Participants won't be paid, but the assessment is free.

Interested homeowners should apply online before Sept. 21 at pietown.tv/shows/myHouseIsWorthWhat.html.
