LIKELY GOING TO FIRST PRO BOWL

DT Haloti Ngata He even surprised the Ravens by how much he improved as the season continued. Ngata is a disruptive force inside with his strength and athleticism. This is the season when he should become the sixth Ravens first-round pick to reach the Pro Bowl.

ON THE REBOUND

CB Samari Rolle Although he probably shouldered too much of the blame on some of the defensive breakdowns, Rolle has worked hard this year to prove that his career isn't over. When he's playing with confidence, Rolle still can handle most of the receivers in the league. There aren't many No. 2 cornerbacks in the NFL who are better.

MOST MOTIVATED

QB Steve McNair Last season, he was determined to show he was still a legitimate starting NFL quarterback. Now, his fire comes from his poor performance in last season's playoff loss to Indianapolis. McNair knows his window to win a Super Bowl is closing.

IMPACT ROOKIE

LB Antwan Barnes If he can recover from his ankle injury, Barnes could put up double-digit sack totals as a pass-rush specialist. The fourth-round pick has impressed coaches with his ability to cut around offensive tackles. It doesn't hurt that offenses will direct most of their attention to the opposite side, where Terrell Suggs will be lining up.

READY FOR BREAKTHROUGH

WR Demetrius Williams One of the reasons the Ravens will play more three-receiver formations is the need to get Williams on the field. Every time he touches the ball, it seems like a big play happens. If the Ravens can get him close to 40 catches, Williams can be an impact player this season.
