Betsy Blanche

Dulaney, hitter

The junior has made tremendous strides from a year ago, improving her ability to finish off kills and honing her powerful jump serve.

Meghan Campbell

Mount Hebron, hitter

A second-team All-Howard County pick a year ago, the 6-foot senior showed strong signs of improvement during the club season.

Liana Farb

Centennial, hitter

The 5-10 left-hander spent most of last season as an outside hitter, but came into her own while sticking exclusively to the right side of the court in the playoffs.

Jamie Huffman

Reservoir, hitter

The 5-9 senior moves back to her natural position of hitter this season after earning first-team All-Howard County honors as a setter a year ago.

Natasha Jensen

Wilde Lake, hitter

The 5-8 outside hitter has a 30-inch vertical leap, and should be even better than a year ago after undergoing offseason back surgery.

Rachel Kuegler

Fallston, hitter

Last year's Harford County Player of the Year was one of the area's strongest hitters as a junior, averaging 2.9 kills per game. She also served at a 92 percent clip.

Brittany Lilley

Severna Park, hitter

Basketball is her main sport, but the 5-9 senior also is one of the most athletic hitters in Anne Arundel County.

Amanda Parry

Catonsville, setter

A returning first-team All-Baltimore County pick, the four-year varsity standout is one of the area's most consistent setters, as well as a 95 percent server.

Bailey Webster

St. Paul's, hitter

Webster, 6-3, dominated around the net, averaging four kills per game last season. She was a finalist for PrepVolleyball.com's National Sophomore of the Year, and was an honorable mention All-American.

Kati Wood

Chesapeake-AA, hitter

The 6-foot, left-handed junior will be the centerpiece of a team that could be the surprise of Anne Arundel County.
