TORONTO -- Orioles manager Dave Trembley was angry. As he leaned on a bat during the pre-game stretch, a team rule was being violated before his eyes.

Trembley mandates that the Orioles stretch as a team before games. But yesterday, a handful of players joined the exercise about a minute after it started, and that set off the detail-oriented Trembley. He walked through the group, admonishing the offenders, even pointing his bat for emphasis. "I don't want anybody to ever be late," Trembley repeated several times as he made his rounds.
