5 Things I Have To Have Now

SUE MANNING TAKES walking to heart. She tries to make time for a walk every day and whenever she can, she trots over to her favorite place: the Ma and Pa Trail in Harford County. "It's the perfect four-mile walk," says the vice president for the Maryland affiliate of the American Heart Association. Manning, a mother of four grown children, is married and lives in Fallston with her husband, Ed. Part of Manning's job is helping to organize the annual Baltimore Heart Walk (Oct. 27) and Howard Heart Walk (Nov. 3). "Between the two, we're hoping to raise $1 million," Manning says. Let's hope that goal is a walk in the park.
