Armorel Henry, 91

Armorel "Army" Tuttle Henry, a retired Baltimore school secretary, died Tuesday of complications from old age at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center & Hospital in Baltimore. She was 91.

Born Armorel Tuttle in Middletown, Conn., she moved to Baltimore in 1951 with her husband, Jack M. Woods. Their marriage ended in divorce.

In 1959, she married Maynard B. Henry, principal of Towsontown Junior High School.

She worked as a secretary for Baltimore County and Baltimore City schools until her retirement in 1971.

A member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Mrs. Henry was an avid reader, according to her stepdaughter, Mary H. Jacox of Catonsville.

Mrs. Jacox said her father and stepmother enjoyed traveling, photography, antique collecting, gardening and genealogy. He died in 1990.

Mrs. Henry donated her body to the Maryland Anatomy Board, Mrs. Jacox said.

Graveside services will be held at a later date in Lewisburg, Pa.

Besides her stepdaughter, Mrs. Henry is survived by a son, Donald "Jack" Woods of Lago Vista, Texas; a stepson, Charles J. Henry Sr., of Peach Bottom, Pa.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
