Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Central

Bank robbery -- Police and the FBI were seeking a man who robbed 1st Mariner Bank in the 300 block of N. Charles St. of an undisclosed sum of money Thursday while implying he was armed with a handgun. Anyone having information on the man's identity or location can call the district at 410-396-2411 or the FBI at 410-265-8080.

Robbery -- A man, 39, was walking in the 1100 block of Lovegrove St. about noon Thursday when he was assaulted by another man who robbed him of his wallet containing $40.

Northeastern

Robbery -- Two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed High's dairy store in the 5600 block of Belair Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 10 p.m. Thursday.

Northwestern

Assault -- A boy, 17, was cutting grass in the 4000 block of Oakford Ave. noon Thursday when the lawnmower kicked up some debris that struck the side of a passing green truck. Police said the driver exited the vehicle armed with a box cutter and cut the boy's right thumb before driving off. The youth was first taken to Sinai Hospital, where his injury was stabilized. He was then taken by ambulance to the Curtis Hand Center at Union Memorial Hospital. The boy's condition and the extent of his injury were not available.

Baltimore County

White Marsh

Burglary -- Someone broke into a house under construction in the first block of Button Wood Court between Wednesday night and Thursday morning and stole a kitchen counter top containing a sink. The property was valued at $400.

Burglary -- Jewelry and coins - all worth $2,000 - were stolen Thursday from a house in the 5300 block of Hollowstone Circle. Entry was through a window.
