Bluegrass fest

The lowdown -- Grab a lawn chair and enjoy sounds of bluegrass and old-time music from several bands, including Bluegrass Brothers, Dark Hollow Bluegrass Band and more, at the 19th annual L'il Margaret's Bluegrass & Old Time Music Festival this weekend. Food and drinks will be available.

If you go -- The Bluegrass & Old Time Music Festival is at Goddard Farm, 20529 White Point Road, Leonardtown, 3 p.m.-10:25 p.m. today, 2 p.m.-11 p.m. tomorrow and 10 a.m.-9:50 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $50 for a three-day pass, $15 for today, $23 for tomorrow and $25 for Saturday. Ages 12 and younger are free with an adult. Go to lilmar garetsbluegrass.com.

Seafood time

The lowdown -- Eat your fill of Eastern Shore favorites, including steamed Maryland blue crabs, while enjoying live music from Cedar Creek, craft vendors and an antique automobile show at the 28th annual Rescue Fire Company's Seafood Feast-I-Val on Saturday.

BBQ bash

The lowdown -- Turn off your grill and head to the Maryland State BBQ Bash tomorrow and Saturday. Enjoy a barbecue-themed street festival with live music, barbecue, crafts and a farmers' market.
