Reality Check

Why are actors debasing themselves and going on reality TV left and right?

Whether it's Corey Haim's crying to Corey Feldman about not getting cast in the sequel to The Lost Boys in The Two Coreys or Scott Baio's revisiting all his ex-girlfriends to figure out why he has a fear of commitment, it's just too, too much.

Actors are probably humiliating themselves on these shows because supposedly no publicity is bad publicity. But when the incidents start to interfere with viewers' ability to enjoy their previous work, it's definitely not worth it.

Any future viewings of The Lost Boys will only serve to remind me of the aforementioned scene, and I kind of doubt that's what Haim was going for when he signed up for this show.
