Two men were gravely injured after being shot early yesterday morning in unrelated incidents, Baltimore City police reported.

The man was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and is not expected to survive, police spokeswoman Nicole Monroe said.

The names of both victims were not released.

Another man was stabbed about 5 p.m. yesterday near Liberty Heights Avenue and Garrison Boulevard in the Forest Park neighborhood. His injuries did not appear life-threatening, Monroe said.
