Columbia Foundation Web site is redesigned

Columbia Creative Services, Jean Moon & Associates and Judson Malone Consulting have redesigned the Columbia Foundation Web site (www.columbia foundation.org).

Donors to the Howard County community foundation can make online contributions; financial advisers, nonprofit organizations who may be beneficiaries, members of the community and the media can access information about the foundation, including its 2006 annual report, Your Community, Your Legacy.

Founded in 1969, the Columbia Foundation has awarded nearly $9 million in grants to Howard County nonprofit organizations providing human service, arts and cultural, educational and civic programs to county residents.

Funds for the grants come mostly from income generated by the foundation's endowment, supported by more than 200 funds established by Howard County businesses, families and individuals.
