Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Southern

Arrest -- Scott Mabe, 24, of no fixed address, was arrested Monday while walking down a street in Windsor Township, Pa., near York, on a Baltimore warrant charging him with attempted murder. Mabe is accused of shooting two teenage males July 24 in the first block of W. Talbot St.

Assault/arrest -- A man was trying to break up an altercation between two people in the 1000 block of Light St. early Sunday when a woman stabbed him in an arm. A suspect was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a deadly weapon. Her name was not available. The man was treated at Harbor Hospital.

Burglary -- Jumper cables, a floor jack and lubricating oils - valued together at nearly $1,200 - were stolen Monday from West End Automotive in the 600 block of S. Addison St.

Stabbing -- Police were seeking a 25-year-old woman after her boyfriend was stabbed in the back during an argument in the man's mother's home in the 1100 block of W. Pratt St. about 11:30 p.m. Sunday. Thomas Phillips, whose address was not available, was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. His condition was not available. The suspect's name was being withheld pending her arrest on deadly weapon and assault charges.

Northwestern

Arrest -- Anthony Burgess of the 5400 block of Nelson Ave. was arrested early Monday in the 6900 block of Reisterstown Road on a warrant charging him with attempted murder. Burgess, 43, is charged with shooting Terrell Blater, in the 5500 block of Clover Road on July 12.

Northeastern

Arrest -- A man being held at Central Booking and Intake Center on an unrelated offense was charged Monday with attempted murder. Antione Means, 21, of the 2000 block of Woodbourne Ave. is charged with shooting Bernard Brown, 18, in the 1600 block of Ramblewood Road on July 19.

Central

Burglary -- Plumbing fixtures valued at nearly $1,100 were stolen Monday from a house under renovation in the 2200 block of Park Ave.

Theft -- An iPod and a wallet containing $25 were stolen Monday from a car parked in the 200 block of Robert St.

Robbery try -- A handicapped, 45-year-old homeless man was walking in the 700 block of St. Paul St. about 2 a.m. Monday when he was stopped by several young men who asked him for money. When the man said he had none, the youths forced him into a nearby laundromat, where one of the youths grabbed the man's cane and struck him several times, breaking his right shin bone. His assailants fled with no money. The man was treated at Maryland General Hospital.

Southeastern

Burglary -- Someone broke into a house in the first block of N. Chester St. through a kitchen window early Monday and stole a black leather coat, shoes and $45.

Theft -- A global positioning system valued at $650 was stolen Monday from a 2005 Acura parked in the first block of N. Patterson Park Ave.

Assault -- A man, 42, was standing outside his place of employment in the 1700 block of S. Clinton St. about noon Sunday when a woman drove up to the building and twice fired a handgun at the man, missing him. The woman drove off. Police said the couple have domestic problems and that the man's wife had threatened to kill her husband on several occasions.

Baltimore County

Cockeysville

Burglary -- Two bicycles were stolen from the porch of a house in the 200 block of Wickersham Way on Thursday or Friday. The theft was reported Saturday.

Burglary -- A John Deere tractor was stolen over the weekend from the front yard of a house in the 17900 block of Troyer Road.

Pikesville

Burglary -- Someone using a security code entered an office at Sunrise Brighton Retirement Home in the 1800 block of Reisterstown Road Friday or Saturday and removed documents from a desk.

Woodlawn

Burglary -- A cell phone, credit cards, a watch and digital video disc player - all valued at nearly $900 - were stolen Sunday or Monday from the bedroom of a house in the 1100 block of Ingleside Ave. by someone who entered through an unlocked side door.

Robbery -- Police were seeking three young males who attacked another young male with a bottle as he walked in the 7100 block of Rolling Road about 6 p.m. Monday and robbed him of more than $100.
