Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Western

Victim named -- Police yesterday released the name of the man who died two days after being severely beaten May 23 in the 1900 block of Presstman St. as Voltaire Conway, 40, of the 1500 block of Presser Court. Police said Conway's death was ruled a homicide June 21. No arrest has been made.

Eastern

Shootings -- Police were seeking a man who shot two men, one 24 and the other 18, about 8 p.m. Tuesday while the victims stood at a playground in the 1100 block of Orleans St. The victims, one shot in the abdomen and the other in a leg, were both treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Arrest -- Bryant Williams, 23, of the 5600 block of Todd Ave., was being held at the city detention center on an unrelated charge when he was served with a warrant Tuesday charging him with first-degree murder in the shooting May 2 of Darius Harmon, 18, in the 2200 block of Barclay St.

Northeastern

Arrest -- Dontay McClary, 17, of the 5400 block of Remmell Ave., was arrested at his home yesterday and charged as an adult with the armed robbery of a convenience store in the 2400 block of Belair Road on May 21.

Southern

Arrest -- A man charged with aggravated assault in the stabbing of another man in the 700 block of Carroll St. on June 11 surrendered to the Warrant Apprehension Task Force yesterday. Andrew Lamen, 40, of the 3700 block of Elmore Ave. was being held at Central Booking and Intake Center.

Drug arrest -- After a Maryland Transportation Authority police officer stopped the driver of a 2003 Chevrolet for speeding on eastbound Interstate 895 about 2 p.m. Monday, the officer detected the odor of burning marijuana coming from the car. A search of the vehicle revealed several plastic bags containing 27 rocks of crack cocaine. Arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute was J. Jasper Stansbury, 21, of the 500 block of E. 29th St. Stansbury was being held at Central Booking and Intake Center. Police seized the car.

Robbery -- A woman, 40, was walking in the first block of S. Carrollton Ave. about 12:45 p.m. Monday when a man struck her on the head, knocked her to the ground and robbed her of $30. She was treated for minor injuries.
