Mary Jo Huber has been appointed the manager of the traveling St. Clare Medical Outreach Program of St. Joseph Medical Center, which provides care in Baltimore. Huber, who was formerly nurse coordinator of Community Outreach at St. Joseph Medical Center, received her nursing degrees from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and the University of Maryland School of Nursing. Since 1998, the St. Clare Medical Outreach Program has operated a mobile coach that is a primary care office on wheels, providing free medical care and medications to the uninsured and underinsured in the city.

Nancy L. Craig, Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator and professor of molecular biology and genetics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, has been elected a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Craig studies the molecular mechanism by which mobile genetic fragments known as transposable elements move. She has written more than 50 papers and several books. Craig joined Hopkins in 1991 from the University of California at San Francisco.

Mary Pat Marzullo has been promoted to director of volunteer services at Greater Baltimore Medical Center, having served the past two years as volunteer services representative at GBMC. Marzullo is a member of the Maryland Healthcare Directors of Volunteer Services as well as the Maryland Council of Directors of Volunteer Services, where she served on the board. Previously, she has served as director of volunteer services at Keswick MultiCare Center and as coordinator of volunteers and fund development with Sarah's House, a program that serves the homeless in Anne Arundel County.
