Irish festival is held today
The Annapolis Irish Cultural Society and several boutiques on Maryland Avenue and State Circle will sponsor an Irish festival on the streets starting at 10 a.m. today.
The festival will feature Irish dancers, bands and bagpipes.
Raffle tickets will be sold for a chance to win a trip to Ireland. The tickets are $10.

Visitors Bureau holds meeting
The Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Conference and Visitors Bureau will hold its annual meeting at 8 a.m. Tuesday at Fleet Reserve Club, 100 Compromise St., Annapolis.
Media forecaster Richard Rinck will discuss the leisure travel market and how best to capture it.
The conference and visitors bureau will also award its Most Valuable Partner.
The cost is $30 for members in advance; $40 for nonmembers and at the door.
Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. Breakfast will be served.

Admiral Cleaners' new headquarters
Admiral Cleaners opened Friday at its new headquarters building in Annapolis, 10 N. Taylor Ave.
Admiral is a family-owned wet and dry cleaners with 22 locations throughout Maryland.
Entertainment firms are combined
Alliance Entertainment joins forces with Entertainment Exchange Inc. to form one of Maryland's largest entertainment companies.
Alliance Entertainment, based in Annapolis, will provide production management services for events in Anne Arundel County and on the Eastern Shore.
Entertainment Exchange Inc., with offices in Annapolis, Baltimore and Bethesda, represents bands, disc jockeys, string ensembles, jazz groups and soloists.

Tech Council plans Bay Tech Expo
The Anne Arundel Tech Council is accepting registration for the third annual Comcast BBQ on the Bay Tech Expo.
The Expo will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. July 12 at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in Annapolis.
The cost is $50 for members; $65 for nonmembers; and $70 at the door.
The cost includes barbeque, and beer and wine tastings.

West County sets Business Expo
Registration is open for the West Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce's third annual Tour West County Business Expo.
The expo will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. July 17 at the Conference Center at the Maritime Institute, 692 Maritime Blvd., Linthicum Heights.
