Correction

June 24, 2007

An article published in Wednesday's Howard County section of The Sun incorrectly stated the minimum lot size where two-family housing would be permitted in a zoning bill sponsored by Councilwoman Courtney Watson. Such homes would be limited to lots of at least 20,000 square feet. The article failed to make clear that another bill sponsored by Watson to eliminate two-family dwellings as a conditional use in two residential zones would not affect regulations allowing semidetached homes on separate lots or accessory apartments.

The Sun regrets the error.
