Grandmaster Roc Raida

The lowdown -- DJ Roc Raida, a recipient of many honors, including his recently awarded "Grandmaster" status, will perform Wednesday. Once a member of the New York-based turntablist group The X-Ecutioners, Grandmaster Roc Raida now is creating new, innovative club mixes out on his own.

Rock of ages

The lowdown -- Go back in time and hear hits from artists such as the Cure, Bryan Adams, Cheap Trick, the Beatles and more when cover band Real Geniuses performs songs from the '60s, '70s and '80s. Baltimore-based alternative rocker Wes McDonough opens.
