Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Central

Shooting -- Police were seeking an unknown male in the shooting of a man at 3 a.m. Friday in the 1200 block of Pennsylvania Ave. The victim, 22, told police he was walking on that block when someone shot him in the back. The victim was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center and was reported in serious condition. A shift commander said a broken chair and groceries were found near the scene.

Robbery -- Police were seeking a male known as "Jimil" in the assault and robbery Saturday night of a 15-year-old boy in the 700 block of Park Ave. Police said the victim was walking down the street about 7 p.m. when the suspect, a former employee of the victim's father, assaulted him and stole his cell phone valued at $200.

Southeastern

Suspects sought -- Police continues to seek Maurice Crosby, 19, of the 5200 block of Saybrook Road and Erica Ammenhauser, 20, of the 200 block of S. Durham St., each of whom is charged in warrants with first-degree murder in the stabbing June 10 of Marine reservist Michael LaMaris Simms, 18. Police said Simms was trying to break up a fight between the suspects and two of his male friends in the first block of S. Chapel St. when he was stabbed in the chest; he died a short time later at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Metro Crime Stoppers at 410-276-8888 is offering a reward of up to $2,000 each for information leading to the arrest and indictment of Crosby and Ammenhauser.

Southern

Robbery -- A boy, 17, and a teenage girl were sitting on a bench at a playground in the first block of S. Schroeder St. about 11:30 p.m. Saturday when two teenage boys, each armed with a handgun and riding bikes, robbed the boy of $70, his shorts and shoes. The girl was not robbed, and no arrests had been made.

Baltimore County

North Point

Theft -- Police were seeking a man who shoplifted clothing valued at $170 from J.C. Penney at the Eastpoint Mall in the 7800 block of Eastern Ave. on Saturday.

Parkville

Burglary -- Someone broke into Reliable Rent A Car in the 1800 block of E. Joppa Road between Friday night and early Saturday after disabling a burglar alarm and stole cash and a bottle of water - all valued at nearly $400.

Franklin

Burglary -- A known male broke into a condominium in the 9200 block of Appleford Court through a window early Saturday and stole the female occupant's pet dog and a laptop computer. Police said the dog was valued at $400 and that they urged the woman to seek a warrant for the man's arrest on burglary and theft charges.
