BRAVES -- Activated IF Chipper Jones from 15-day DL. Optioned P Blaine Boyer to Triple-A Richmond.

CUBS -- Recalled P Clay Rapada from Triple-A Iowa. Optioned OF Matt Murton to Iowa.

TOWSON -- Announced that G Brian Morris transferred to men's basketball team from Richmond and must sit out 2007-08 season.

WOFFORD -- Announced that G Drew Gibson has withdrawn from NBA draft and will return for senior season.

CHIEFS -- Agreed with WR Brent Little on two-year contract.

GIANTS -- LB Jessie Armstead signed one-day contract and announced his retirement.

JAGUARS -- Re-signed DE Bobby McCray. Signed P Adam Podlesh (Maryland).

VIKINGS -- Signed WR Paris Hamilton.

DUCKS -- Signed coach Randy Carlyle to one-year contract extension, through 2008-09 season.
