'80s prom

The lowdown -- Relive the '80s for a night when the Ottobar hosts the third annual "Pretty In Pink" prom. Featured will be live music from the Reagan Years and DJ Craig Boarman. Full '80s prom attire is encouraged, and at the end of the night, cast your vote for prom king and queen.

Blues-infused Forty Acres

The lowdown -- Check out Baltimore-based Forty Acres when it plays Rams Head Live tomorrow. The band, founded by former SR-71 drummer John Allen, puts a new spin on good ol' blues-infused rock.

The lowdown -- Join the party at the Recher tomorrow when local band Dropout Year releases its new album, Best Friends For Never. The new album is the pop-punk band's second, having gained many fans since its debut, Seven Unreturned Phone Calls, was released last year.
