It's June, time to reconsider Maryland's vulnerability to hurricanes. Sure, only two storms have made landfall here at hurricane force since record-keeping began. Most that reach Maryland have weakened to tropical storm strength, or less. But Isabel was "only" a tropical storm when it flooded bay-shore communities in 2003.
